Re-touched Dataset (2020)
The Twindom “re-touched” dataset includes:
Dataset Quality
- 2000 anonymized, annotated full-body 3D models
- Models include raw 3D scans from 23 countries
- A wide variety of ages, body shapes, genders, and skin tones are represented, all fully clothed
- This dataset is annotated and includes a JSON snippet for each model with the following key/value pairs:
- filename, gender, approximate age, body type, skin tone, hair length, hair type, arm pose, leg pose, clothing layer count on top, clothing layer count on bottom, pant type, hat?, glasses?, prop?
Access
- Models are distributed via Google Cloud Storage, and can be downloaded either in-browser or via the gsutil command line tool
Geometry
- Poly count is generally between 100,000 faces and 1,500,000 faces
- Textures are either 4k or 8k and are in either PNG or JPG format
- Model meshes are in OBJ/MTL format
Availability
- This dataset is immediately available without delay after making payment

- Non-commercial use (research only) license pricing starts at $12.50 per model, per year, and there is a minimum license purchase of 100 models
- Commercial use license pricing starts at $30 per model, per year, and there is a minimum license purchase of 100 models
